40th Anniversary CSVHFS Conference

Guidance for Presenters

The goal of this year’s conference is to have MORE presentations of slightly shorter duration. As a Society Member, we need YOU to share with us your riveting and fast-paced presentation. Suggested topics span the entire breadth of our weak signal VHF/UHF/Microwave work to include propagation, operating events, construction, new technologies, and more. As a Society member, please give serious consideration towards making a presentation at our 2006 conference. We have an outstanding A/V group that will assist in your presentation.

SCHEDULE
Presentations must be submitted to the Technical Conference Chairman two weeks prior to the conference, or by Friday, July 14. Our A/V team will preload your presentation and assure that it works with our presentation audio & visual systems. You do not need to bring your own laptop.

FORMAT
All presentations must be created using Microsoft Power Point. For presentations that consist of only pictures, an acceptable alternative is a series of sequentially numbered image files (gif, jpeg, tiff). The conference A/V team will assemble all presentations onto a single laptop and test them to assure that they work prior to the start of the conference. We will not have live Internet access so if your presentation requires this please plan accordingly. Please insure that your presentation is clear and easy to read remembering that the conference typically draws upwards of 150 attendees. The CSVHF Society may record presentations for later publishing. For any questions, contact the Technical Conference Chairman.

SUBMISSION
Please forward your Power Point presentations via email, CD, or other form, to the Technical Conference Chairman. Please remember to spell-check and proof read your submissions.
