Registration

To provide CSVHFS membership with the best service we can, we have organized the conference into three separate areas. The first is the standard ham conference including all the standard technical aspects and events. The second is the traditional family program, and the third is a Saturday only "Getting Started in VHF Ham Radio" program. This last is an effort to support the ongoing CSVHFS effort to share the challenges and delight of VHF ham radio with youth and older hams who have not yet experienced it. Fees for youth through 8th grade are $5, for high schoolers $10 and college students $15. The "Getting Started" program fee for non-students over 18 is $20. This includes the cost of the Saturday antenna workshop in which attendees will build and take home one or two yagis for bands of their choice.

Registration forms will be available for downloading from this page as soon as costs for various program events is determined. There will be three registration forms. For family program registrants, please note the callsign of the associated ham program attendee; this request will appear at the top of the family program registration form.

The most difficult of the three forms to prepare is the family program registration because the costs of the various events is more difficult to nail down than those for the remainder of the conference.

All registrations must be mailed in. Please allow 5 business days for your mail to be delivered unless using priority mail which takes only two days. Remember July 4th is a holiday and there WILL be holiday mail delays associated. This is important because we are bound by contract to tell the hotel how many folks will be attending and will be eating at the banquet (in "round numbers") no later than July 12th. This means we need your registration form no later than July 10th in order to tabulate and prepare our input for the hotel.

In the case of family events, some offerings are limited as to number of participants which can be accomodated. Early registration will give you the best opportunity to lock in a slot for your desired family program event.
